Savage

I confronted the Negative today. I went up to him, having built up some courage beforehand.
My tone was not by any means annoyed, angry or threatening. I just simply wanted some questions answered.

Me: Negative?
Negative: Hmm...?
Me: Sorry if I'm being a bit of a pest, but I am really curious why you wish to continue this investigation. I mean from what I've gathered there's nothing out of the ordinary about Terri.
Negative: Well...let's just say that Savage has yet to reveal his plan. I'm suspicious.
Me: Savage?
Negative: Yes, Savage.

Is it just me or can I never get a straight answer out of Negative. It's like he's talking in riddles without giving a hint at what the answer might be. Who the hell is Savage?
